Good news for all of us who spend half our lives on watching video clips on YouTube. Owned by Google, YouTube has signed deals with MGM film studios and CBS to bring full length movies, like Bulletproof Monk, and programs, like Gladiators, to our small screens.

There are a few such services now, most notably Hulu.com, which owned by News Corp., the parent company of NBC Universal, streams movies and programs from NBC studios. However hulu.com is not available outside of the U.S., at least not yet.

It remains to be seen if we in the U.K. will have access to the YouTube channels that will show the MGM and CBS content.
