Facebook has recently, over the last two weeks, announced the introduction of a number of exciting features. Here is a list as well as video links to the announcements :

- Single Sign On
Single sign on for mobiles is an exciting feature that allows anyone with facebook on their mobile/smartphone to sign into facebook partner sites without logging in. Using membership sites on a mobile phone can be quite cumbersome and this feature promises to make the experience that little better by removing the need to log into every site.
- Locations API
Facebook has now opened up the Locations API allowing developers to both read and write from the Location store allowing much more deeper, and meaningful, apps.
- Deals Platform
The new Deals Platform from Facebook allows bricks-and-mortar businesses to offer deals to local Facebook users, and their friends, when they check in, using Facebook Places on their mobiles, to the business and claim a deal e.g. 20% of drinks bill if it's a bar or restaurant.
