Microsoft yesterday announced, at its Microsoft Professional Developers Conference in Los Angeles, that it's making a move toward Cloud Computing. Calling their cloud platform Azure, Microsoft is making a change from its current business model which thus far has involved
timed version releases for it's Windows operating system and its host of other software like Office.
It's taken a while for Microsoft to take the plunge into Cloud Computing; It comes as no surprise that Google launched it's cloud computing platform Google Docs a couple of years ago, although Google is still running it in beta.
